Sunday Stroll 10am-11am or 1pm-2pm (April - Oct)

Join us for a relaxing visit to WEE Farm! Meet our friendly farm animal friends like Grizzly the horse, Luna the goat, Hamela & Maggie the pigs, chickens, donkey, and other critters!  Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.  Please arrive a few minutes early so we can check you in.  Suggested $10 donation/person

Cole Crop Fall

Learn how to plant, grow, and harvest your cole crops (kale, broccoli, mustard greens, cabbage) late in the gardening season. Participants will receive an instructional handout as well as a packet of cole crop seeds to try growing at home!

A Peck 0f Pickled What?

Turn perishable produce into a tangy treat that lasts far longer through pickling. Join us to learn easy at-home skills on a diverse array of fresh produce. Participants will leave with a recipe card and a jar of pickled veggies from class.

Music & Pizza

Join us for food, farm animals and fun!  LIVE music will be playing.  Get down with some great tunes, visit our animals!  All proceeds will go towards winter feed and hay for our horses, goats and pigs!

Jams, Jellies & Salsas, Oh My!

Water Bath canning tasty sauces and jams is an easy way to preserve your fresh fruits and vegetables and reduce waste. Visit the WEE Farm kitchen for an interactive class where we cook, taste, and save delicious garden goods for the long haul.

Salsa Making Class

Learn how to make and safely preserve a batch of homemade salsa using the water bath canning method. This session celebrates cultural food traditions and community connection through food. We’ll use locally grown ingredients, explore salsa’s culinary roots, and you’ll leave with your own jar to enjoy at home.

Fresh Italian Cuisine

Delizioso!  Learn how to create mouth-watering Italian cuisine using farm-fresh ingredients from the WEE Farm garden!  You'll learn how to create a delicious and fragrant meal that friends, neighbors and colleagues will rave about!

The "Root" of Preservation

Root vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and onions are among the most shelf stable vegetables in the garden. Learn best practices for root crop storage that minimize space and maximize longevity. Youth Ages 12-17 may attend free with a paid adult.

HARVEST TO TABLE

Ever wondered how to prepare a meal with ingredients grown right at your feet? In this interactive class, you’ll harvest diverse produce and native edible plants directly from the WEE Farm garden, then work together to create a seasonal farm-fresh salad.

MOOOVie Night

Cuddle up with a blanket, enjoy a memorable movie experience!  Popcorn, drinks and snacks available for purchase. Make sure to dress appropriately.

Korean Cuisine Part 1: Kimchi

Come learn how to make Kimchi.  A dish that only gets better over time!  While commonly made with cabbage, we will discuss the many other fruits and vegetables that can be fermented in this style.

Korean Cuisine Part 2: Kimbap

Kimbap is a Korean sticky rice dish that features fresh veggies and eggs rolled up in seaweed. Great as a snack or side dish and with hundreds of different ways to make it, come learn how to make Kimbap with a Korean culinary expert.
