 WEE Farm field trips provide hands on, inclusive learning experiences that connect students to agriculture, animals, science, and the natural world. Located in Savage, our urban farm offers engaging, standards aligned programming for schools, homeschool groups, and community organizations.

 Experience hands-on educational field trips at WEE Farm, where students engage with animals and nature, promoting curiosity and compassion in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Connections

 During a visit to WEE Farm, students experience learning in a living, breathing classroom. They will meet and interact with farm animals, observe daily care routines, explore gardens and growing spaces, and engage in guided, hands on activities that connect directly to science, agriculture, and real world problem solving. 

Educational Activity Options

 

 Field trips start at $10 per person with a $200 minimum, which includes a guided farm tour and interaction time at each animal station.  Reserve your date & time by clicking the 'Book' button below.   Your date is secured once deposit is received and waivers are signed. The remaining balance is collected prior to your visit.  


Additional activities that can be added to your visit. Prices are per person.


  • Plants/Garden - $2
    Seeds and soil, compost and sustainability, insects and pollinators, plant structure and life cycles, farm to table, global crops


  • Animal Science - $2
    Animal care and first aid, life cycles, habitats and adaptations, classification, basic microscopy


  • Equine - $20
    Team building, grooming, introductory horsemanship ($20 per person - requires additional staff and equine facilitation waivers)


  • Farm Studies - $2
    Farm life, farm math, types and history of farms, tools and equipmen


  • Science - $3
    Force and motion, weather and water cycle, energy and natural resources, ecosystems, weathering


  • Engineering - $3
    Pollinator design, safety cars, water filters, pulleys, shelters


Add-ons are calculated after booking, and rolled into remaining balance.  We are happy to customize activities to meet your group’s age, goals, and learning objectives!
